What is
Virtual Assistance?
A
Virtual Assistant is a highly skilled
professional, offering his/her clients a
multitude of administrative services or
a refined and focused area of
service. Virtual Assistance is fee
based and will provide your business, not
only with administrative support, but many
facets of business services to assist you
with your daily operations.
If you
are open to taking advantage of a
technology based service and are seeking an innovative
way of working smarter, then Virtual
Assistance will work exceptionally well
for you. You will have a virtual
presence you can rely upon to do
everything that an "on-site"
assistant can do. You will have an
ultimate edge over those still trying to
do everything themselves.
How
will we conduct business together?
 | How
we conduct business will depend upon
what your needs are. We will
discuss the details of your support
needs and find innovative solutions. |
 | We
will work together to find processes
that work for you. This
can be anything from phone assistance,
calendar sharing, client contact
databases or any area of support you
many need. |
 | Communication
is the key to a long-term
collaborative relationship for
us. With this in mind we will
establish a communication timeline and
interact accordingly through phone
conversations and email messaging. |
 | You
will make requests of what you need
and I will recommend and advise how I
can support your need. You'll be
amazed at the magnitude of
accomplishment I can attain for you
virtually. |
 | We
will establish the number of hours you
will need each month. These
hours will be reserved just for you
each month, so that I can take great
care of you and your business needs. |

Is A VA
right for me, what should I look for in a
VA?
A
successful partnership requires that
both parties be committed to attaining
goals set by the client. The
relationship or partnership is an
extension of not only your business
but the VA's as well. It should
have preset goals in place and a
commitment by both parties to produce
results and get the job done with
integrity and dedication. By
predefining the "ground
rules" with open discussions,
both parties know what to expect from
the other.
 | Compatibility.
Take time during the interview process
to explore his/her personality traits,
business practices, and style.
Communicate openly so you and the VA
can make an informed decision
regarding your compatibility. |
 | Explore
each other's ideas, skills, and
desired communication frequency to
ensure a good match for your business
requirement. |
 | Compare
your computer platforms to ensure they
are the same for smooth
interaction. If they are not the
VA should have a working knowledge of
both systems. If you have a Mac
and your VA has a PC, an understanding
of both platforms is needed or future
problems can develop. |
 | What
software do each of you use most
often? Ideally it will be the
same. However, as long as your
VA is knowledgeable of your software
there should be no problem. |
 | Although
there are no geographical barriers
with Virtual Assistance, each of you
should be aware of a time zone
difference. If you are on the
East coast and need support during
YOUR business hours and your VA is on
the West coast. Your VA will be
3 or 4 hours behind your time. So be
sure to discuss any time zone issues. |
 | Put
it in writing. The majority of
VA's use a contract to define your
working agreement. Your VA is an
Independent Contractor and will
outline in the contract your working
agreement. This will ensure you
each have a full understanding of the
expectations for both parties. |
What
are the benefit of working with a VA?
I have
included a page in this website that
explains the advantages of working with
your very own VA. Visit this
page to learn more.
What do
you look for when accepting clients to
work with Executive Solutions?
 | Virtual
Assistance is a technology based
business. We use the latest
technology to assist our
clients. You must be willing to
learn how to help your VA - help
you. By this I mean that if you
are not willing to learn how to
satisfactorily interact via your email
program such as sending and receiving
attached documents or have an
understanding of your file structure
in your word processing program, a VA
may not be a good match for you.
Keep in mind that a savvy Virtual
Assistant can set up work flow
processes for you and give you
detailed instructions on how to
interact with her, but only if you are
open to learning. If you are
familiar and comfortable working via
fax, email, and the Internet the
Virtual Assistant could be an answer to
your prayers. |
 | I am
laid back, love to laugh, and I want
to enjoy our working together. I look
for clients with a similar work style.
Virtual assistance works best
when the people involved can work in
harmony… when there are few
conflicts.
Certainly it's true that there
are occasional emergencies that come
up and need to be handled, however,
generally speaking, our relationship
will be much stronger if you allow me
to help you put systems in place so
that those urgencies are few and far
between. Virtual Assistance does not
work well when you have emergencies,
because I am not always instantly
available to you. I am masterfully
skilled and completely ready to help
you attain your goals in business and
in life.
Time
management is an important ingredient
for me to deliver my "best"
to my clients. I align my
practice on a high scale of integrity
and reliability. If a task is giving
to me at the last minute, I may not be
able to help you. I schedule my
work days and if I interrupt this
schedule to take care of your
emergency, this means I must make a
scheduled clients work
"wait". ALL of
my clients are important to me. By
letting me work with you proactively,
we can make magic happen. |

Need a website?
Visit my Creative

monthly maintenance - I can help you with that too.
I wanted to
take this opportunity to say what a great
pleasure it's been working with you. I am so grateful that I found you. You
were able to take my very basic knowledge
of what I wanted and turn it into exactly
what I pictured. In fact you improved upon
it! I particularly like your proactive
attitude towards any changes that needed
to be made. I would also like you to know
how many people have commented on how
professional the site looks. I have
not hesitated to provide your name to
friends and colleagues and will continue
to do so. It's great to have
you on my team.
